      Restorative Counselling and Mediation

      • Counselling and Mediation using Restorative Practice principles

"The common way to solve conflict is to start a war or impose sanctions. Restorative Practice allows for differences and provides a listening platform where all voices are heard."

      • What is restorative practice?

It's a movement that seeks to improve good relationships, respect individuality and restore a sense of community in an increasingly disconnected world.

        Individual renewal

Mission: restoring a relationship with yourself

Restorative counselling and biography therapy is a hybrid approach that provides a safe, therapeutic process for self-inquiry. It strengthens the inner capacities you already have and builds on new ones to open a doorway to a future of creative living.

        Partnership renewal

Mission: renewing relationships between couples, friendships and business partners

Conflict is a normal part of life. Restorative mediation is a social and emotional learning process that helps repair misunderstandings to better interact with your partners, friends, or colleagues when a breakdown has occurred. It provides tools to identify the rhythms of change in your relationship to meet the demands of a shared future together.

        Small organisation renewal

Mission: rebuilding relationships with administrative teams

Restorative mediation repairs fractures that occur when we work together. It differs from traditional conflict resolution because it emphasises community building instead of everyone getting what they want. A restorative process occurs when it is acknowledged that a dispute exists, everyone can share how they experienced it, and all parties work together to make things right and rebuild trust.

        Schools renewal

Mission: Connecting with families, staff and students

Restorative practice empowers students or members in a school community to take ownership of the educational experience and take responsibility for behaviours. Simply put, to institute restorative practice in schools is to believe that decisions are best made and that conflicts are best resolved by those directly involved.

        Professional Development

        Mission: Providing mental health safety

Understanding Mental Health is an organisational professional development training. It is beneficial for students, staff and administration in schools and businesses. Two-hour to full-day sessions are available.
